PROP POLICY



Prohibited Props

• Firearms: Real guns, functioning firearms, or any prop resembling a real firearm, even if non-functional. This includes airsoft guns, BB guns, and replicas.

• Live Blades: Knives, swords, axes, or any sharp-edged weapons, whether real or imitation.

• Explosives or Flammable Items: Fireworks, smoke bombs, sparklers, or any pyrotechnic devices.

• Hard Metal Props: Metal props, including bats, crowbars, and large metallic objects.

• Projectiles: Items designed to be thrown or fired, such as arrows, darts, or slingshots.

General Guidelines

1.All props, weapons, and accessories must be inspected and approved at the Prop Check Station upon entering the convention. Approved props will receive a visible tag or marker.

2. Props must comply with federal, state, and local laws. Items that do not meet legal standards will not be permitted.

3. Props must not cause discomfort, disruption, or pose a danger to others. Use of props inappropriately, such as swinging or throwing them, is strictly prohibited.

4. Be considerate of other attendees and visitors. We don’t want anyone accidentally hurt. Do no swing  props around and if you are carrying a large prop please be aware of your surroundings to avoid hitting people or equipment.

5. Prop guns should not look realistic, please mark and seal the tips with orange tape or paint.

6. Items Purchased on site: Attendees who purchase imitation or replica weapon such as metal movie swords or knives from the Vendors/Exhibitors Hall must not remove items from their original packaging until they have been secured away from the convention grounds
